Mission- Vision

Purpose of the Armenian Language and Literature Department is to provide students to learn the Armenian language with all features, stating written and verbal expression and literature, history, folklore with development process along the education. Correspondingly, arriving to the level of verbal and written comparison between Turkish language, literature, culture and Armenian language, literature, history, folklore and culture

Students graduating from bachelor’s degree can express themselves written and verbally on actual issues.  They can identify Armenian language, literature, history, and culture and folklore development; read and understand an Armenian text; make verbal and written interpretation; and also analyze bilateral relations and their impacts of Turkish and Armenian societies.

The skills that Armenian Language and Literature Department intent to gain are evaluating Armenian literal and scientific Works; translating them into Turkish; applying Armenian language as working language for scientific researches; and gaining teaching ability.
